Though there was no blogospheric evidence to the contrary, we did not die during the move. We’ve been instead doing 2 things: busily making this beautiful new place our home, and not blogging. During this process, we had a little BBQ for my birthday and Memorial Day. We figured we could best honor our nation’s war heroes (and me) by eating burgers and lemon jello cake. It was sunny and fun. See!

On Saturday (April 18), our little guy turned one. I can hardly believe it, they grow up so fast, seems like just yesterday, etc. We had a few friends over to celebrate, mostly just those with kids (who else goes to one-year-old birthday parties?). Anyway, it was fun. A few pics…
